| Kapton tape Apples uses all over on G4 notebooks |

Posted by: rsolberg on 2015-09-22 15:31:35 I use ¾" or ½" 3M 8403 tape when the original tape no longer holds. I have it on hand already as splicing tape for film processing and for securing thermal/dye sublimation transfers to blanks. It's a polyester tape with silicone adhesive. It's a bit thicker/stiffer than the original Kapton tape, but holds up very well. EDIT: typogrdhdhn errors
