Just re-capped with Tants installed.

This one after the re-cap, in testing, was doing something VERY strange with with floppy drive in my CC. Clunk Clunk Clunk.

I pulled it back out and did some inspection, noticed some oddness with some traces going under one of the tant caps.

ended up lifting one pad, fixed it with a little bit of wire wrap,

also this one had lots of corrosion. I used the dremel with the wire wheel to get all the corrosion. also looks like this one was ran in a dish washer.

You can really tell. There was white caky residue in between many of the ic pads.

By the way, it does work just like it should now.

I can't say what exactly I did to fix it, however my guess would be the corrosion in between the IC pads, there is not a chip that says SWIM, it was probably integrated into one of the VLSI chips.
