Posted by: MacJunky on 2012-12-01 20:18:19 For old systems:
IBM Model F and M or similar unicomp product.
For newer ones where you want a meta key:
Things with Cherry MX Blue switches.(such as my Das Keyboard Pro Model S)
or perhaps a unicomp 104 key model.
After using some real keyboards I cannot really find myself liking ones Apple has made very much.

Modern: Das Keyboard Professional. There is simply no other.

Posted by: markyb86 on 2012-12-09 09:48:01 For my recent machines, my favorite keyboard is the black Apple Pro Keyboard M7803,
as far as retro ones go, I am a fan of the little compact keyboards. However I have to say I do miss the AT keyboard I had circa 1999. beige, spread out keys, big wrist area, spiraled cable, good angle. Can't remember brand though. :'(
