PrintLink Collection from GDT Software
It's a collection of 8 printer drivers that work with about 30+ different brands of printers (I suspect the majority of them are all just rebranded printers of those specific 8 printers), some special screen fonts that work with a few specific printers, and a special serial-to-parallel cable. This enables you to print to print to a crap ton of different PC dot matrix and thermal printers.
How I wish I had this back in the day as I longed over the the much cheaper priced parallel PC-only printers.

Yesh, running a generic printer would have been nice... Now utilities is nice too (have several copies of that).
