Drives and MacAdvocate CD-ROM
Posted by: Cosmo on 2012-11-14 12:19:07
Traded one Macintosh Classic (problematic unit, works only with ram-extension board off) to these drives:

- Apple 3.5" External (A9M0106)

- Apple 5.25" Drive (A9M0107)

Won this for 4€ from auction:

- The 1997 Apple MacAdvocate CD-ROM

That MacAdvocate CDROM has some pretty great videos on it. All the Apple TV ads to the date of publication, which includes the entire span that I'm interested in anyway.

That MacAdvocate CD is pretty neat...I still have a copy at home somewhere. It's amazing to see how far everything has come since the late 90s.

The CD-ROM is indeed very cool. Nice videos, of cos with low resolution and lots of other neat stuff on it.

At 4€ it wasn't no brainer.

I have both that one and a later one, but the original MacAdvocate CD is the better of the series. It harks back to a different era, doesn't it?
