Apple II game : Karateka (easter-egg)

This is surely old news, but i just had to see it my own eyes as i have an original disk of KARATEKA for Apple II.

When you boot the disk from B-side, the game itself works but all graphics are reversed! This looks really funny!

I'll make disk image of the game both sides and see if that works with CFFA3000 as well.

You mean upside-down, right? That's one of the most clever and original easter eggs out there.

You will have a hard time with that. The original disk is protected - also cleverly. There has been chatter on the CFFA3000 board recently about various Karateka images that do and do not work with the CFFA3000. Check out the variations on Asimov... I found one that did work eventually.

If I remember right Hot Rod recently posted both the front and back sides of Karateka to Asimov. I haven't tried them with the CFFA3K yet but they do run in Virtual II and Sweet 16.

just my two cents worth.
