I was a little baby practically when the Apple II era was in full swing. What kinda things do you do with your Apple IIGS?

Is it mostly just a games/nostalgia machine, or a collectible? I'm not judgin, just wondering what sorta things Apple II collectors do with em. Are they networkable?

They had one of the Woz editions at the Brantford Computer museum, and it was fun to play around with the GSOS. I think I want one.

GSOS is the most interesting thing about the GS

I use my Apple ][s for retro gaming, mostly.

Reading about it, it appears to be big on graphics and sound (bit of a clue in the name I guess).

Are there cool graphics or sound apps? Is there anything like .MOD tracker for it?

You can play Wolfenstein 3D and Lemmings on the IIgs.

Tested today the IIgs with modded 115->230V PSU and the IIgs worked fine. Booted the 5.0.4 until got an error for unable to load finder lack of memory. The IIgs memory expansion board is not fully populated. It's good news the machine work so can start thinking of the PSU-issue and then adding more RAM and finding way to output the video.
