Posted by: Trash80toHP_Mini on 2012-06-28 15:34:34 Yep that was me, I was going to bid on it even before I noticed the three HDDs listed in the auction. The cables are something I need already the cage and drives are a big plus. I haven't seen many 9GB drives for less than $6 shipped.

Posted by: Unknown_K on 2012-06-28 16:39:58 I have a small stack of 18/36GB SCA drives from servers (mostly dells came with the mounting sled) for next to nothing last year. Havn't realy been looking much for SCSI drives lately , most have probably been retired and scrapped by now.

Dunno about where I'll wind up using the three 9GB Maxtors, but the pretty, terminated cable and RAID enclosure is headed into a Clear Plexi Display Cube (or near-cube) in a Drive assemblage resembling something like this . . . . . . should the PEx MoBo find itself in operable condition, mounted with its cards pointing toward the left or right side of the "cube." < . . . crosses fingers . . . >
