Stuffit installer SMI

I have a rather bad problem that I have run into. Because I store my mac software on a Windows 2000 server I keep all my files stuffed to preserve the resource fork. The problem is that for the last few years since I started doing this and not fumbling with floppy and ZIP disks I had been working with 7.6 and newer which included basic stuffit utilities. System 7.1 however does not include these and this I can't unstuff anything I have. Yes I do have several copies of stuffit handy on the server, however I have managed to stuff them as well. :I

Is there a website somewhere online that hosts a stuffit installer in the SMI format?

The old Stuffit Catch-22. Unfortunately, I do not.

Haha this takes me back to when I had 7.1 on my IIsi and no internet access on it. I could only dial up from a 486 w/ Windows and copy stuff on floppies. My local library had a Mac book which included stuffit expander on a floppy disk. I withdrew that book more than once.

Basically, take stuffit expander and put it on a floppy+spare as backup and you may as well also stick it on a CD too. 😛 That way you have it for the future.

Could you use a sea archive?

You are aware that 2000's AFP support DOES do forks, right? (well, as long as your share is on NTFS)

What version of Stuffit did you compress them into?

If it was something like v.9, good luck. You'll need a bridge machine. If it was something older like 5.5, then you'll need Expander 5.5 or 6.0.
