Cramming a 10K RPM SCA-2 Drive into a LaCie Joule HD Case.

I want to cram a 10K RPM enterprise SCSI drive into a LaCie Joule HD external case to replace the dead drive inside.

Reference/backstory thread: https://68kmla.org/forums/index.php?/topic/25838-lacie-joule-730-hd-problems/

I know I need an 80-pin SCA-2 to 50-Pin adapter, but does anyone know if the drive will work in that configuration? Also, can anyone recommend an adapter that works for that? (I've heard not all of them do).

Here's the spec sheet for the drive: http://www.hgst.com/tech/techlib.nsf/techdocs/85256AB8006A31E587256AA400595BA0/$file/ddrs_spw.pdf

Here's the mode compatibility table:

| DDRS-34560
| − SCSI-3 FAST-20 SE 50-pin (with SCSI terminator)
| − SCSI-3 FAST-20 SE 68-pin WIDE (with SCSI terminator)
| − SCSI-3 FAST-20 SE 80-pin SCA-2
| − LVD FAST-40 68-pin WIDE (can be used also as SCSI-3 FAST-20 SE)
| − LVD FAST-40 80-pin SCA-2 (can be used also as SCSI-3 FAST-20 SE)
Some photos of the drive:

From the drive cover label, I can tell it's a Single Ended SCSI (SE) drive.
