WOW! :O Simply one of the coolest prototypes I've ever seen. I didn't even know this thing existed! $8,000 for probably a one of a kind. That is just sweet.

Prototypes are tough to predict prices on, they're usually best to list in a traditional auction and let the market determine the price in my opinion. You can always put a reserve on it if you have a rock-bottom price in mind that you wouldn't sell under.
I just like looking at Apple prototypes online...it's much more affordable than actually buying them. 😛
If I was gonna shell out big bucks I'd go hunting for a transparent compact or something like that I think. Here's a couple of examples of what I'd love to own from a quick AppleFritter search. I'd love a colored transparent one even more; I've seen some green ones but they didn't come up in my one minute 'Fritter hunt.

Hopefully whoever bought it will be able to resurrect the hard drive and show it off. It seems like a lot of these things get bought for big money and then go back into hiding.
