So, I was running backups of the web stuff on my slice today and it occurred to me that the next week or so is probably a good time to update the forum and the wiki. I'll do the wiki first, because it's less popular. I'm thinking that the wiki I'll do tomorrow, from 7p to 9p. (I'm at GMT -7) The forum, I'll do Thursday from 7p to 9p. (I will disable each service before this happens.) In recap: 68kmla.org/wiki will be down 2012-01-04 from 19:00 to 21:00 (GMT -7) 68kmla.org/forums will be down 2012-01-05 from 19:00 to 21:00 (GMT -7) Best, Cory W.
Posted by: Cory5412 on 2012-01-03 21:02:54 Just an update -- the wiki update went very poorly, because of customizations we've got and whatnot. I'm going to be replicating the whole kit in a test environment at home and doing some experiments with it to see if I can figure out how to make it go. My apologies for the inconvenience. Additionally, it looks like upgrading the forum will be a far more time-consuming process than I'd originally thought, so that is on hold for the time being as well. (Because of our registration setup, I suspect we'll be fine for a bit longer.) (Also, because I cannot dates, the 04 in the previous post was supposed to be 03, today. Whoops.)
