. . . what's the best way to get around the password protection to overwrite a password protected Windows install/do the above?
Maybe I should have posted this part in the 'NIX forum, but since I'm here:
Gotta send HP_Maxi Back to HP and I slightly bent the ubuntu install on HP_Mini in the process of setting it up as a stand in.
What's the keyboard combination to put the Dock back on the left side of the screen on last fall's release?
I hate animal names . . . but this time I don't remember the friggin # either.

p.s. Am I better off looking for the three year old CD for a Compaq Presario SR1000Z, I don't have DOS anymore and that's the only command line UI that I can remember . . . sorta . . .
. . . must be hardwired . . . maybe a fused neural gate array . . . 😛
p.p.s. AOL Dialup included? 8-o I knew this thing was old, but just how many generations back is this MINT POS?

Looks like you can make a CD or boot USB disk to reset the password of any user account with this utility.
