Posted by: Strimkind on 2011-08-01 13:42:15
Just picked up a Powerbook 1400c in the original box!

The box contents are incomplete but it is mostly there.

Included was:

Powerbook 1400c/133 16MB/1.2/8x

box with floppy foam (missing floppy) and Poweradapter

box with original software books (missing CD)

bottom foam for the laptop, but missing the top

Included that was not a part of the original box contents was:

Desktop Mouse I and II

2x phone net adapters

Apple Serial to DV-25

Weird DB9 to DB-15 adapter

Extra CD-ROM faceplate

Hypercard 2.2 install Floppy disks

Ethernet PCMCIA Missing Dongle

Wordlinx Program Disks

The Far Side Calendar Disks

7.1 Install disks with IIvi, Centris 610/650 & Quadra 800 Install me First Disks

I can complete all of the box except the top foam as i have the clear plastic cover, the floppy module, and the software CD

Cost was $25 plus driving for about 1.5 hours total

Nice!

I have a Pismo outer/inner box but not a 1400 box. I'm not much one for extra stuff (no room), but the accessories box for the Pismo does look nice on a shelf in my office - it has that sexy side shot of the laptop...

I've got a Plus with box and all inner Styrofoam, but no docs or disks sadly.

Very nice, I've had my 1400 since new and still have the box and everything for it. My parents have asked me to throw it away several times, but I refuse.
