Otherwise, its in great cosmetic shape, and interestingly enough, this unit was originally a 128 (serial number ends in M0001; I believe the 512k ended with M0001E or M0001W).
Here are some pics below:

N.B. The 800k external drive, keyboard, mouse, and Kensington System Saver were from previous conquests.
| Posted by: Strimkind on 2011-07-30 23:50:04 Glad you are happy with it! I always try and pack my things well. No sense in doing a bad job and not having it arrive working.
I noticed the glitch the first time I booted it up, but it didn't do it the second time so I took it to be a thing from sitting for a long time.
Enjoy!

| Posted by: macman142 on 2011-08-01 00:27:00 Good score with the 512k. The 512k would be my favourite. Great picture that first one.
Interesting that it was a 128k before it was upgraded. I have a 128k that has been upgraded to a Plus, pretty strange I think.

I have a 128k that has been upgraded to a Plus, pretty strange I think. Nuisance would be the more 'ideal' word to use, as the majority of the earlier compacts (128/512) were upgraded to a 512ke or a Plus, therefore rendering it difficult (and more expensive) to obtain a stock 128 or non-enhanced 512. My previous Compact Mac conquests have involved a 512ke, and 128k, which had both been upgraded to an early Plus, and an actual stock Plus (1MB/Beige).
Although the Plus is more expandable than its predecessors with SCSI, and the 4MB RAM ceiling, I still have a soft spot for the early compacts, and I'm grateful to have purchased one that is in great condition, and best of all, was not upgraded to a Plus. :beige:
| Posted by: theos911 on 2011-08-01 02:15:13 Of the two plus's that came with my SE/30, one was an original 1 mb plus and the other is an un-unbranded(apple logo only) upgraded to a 1 mb plus. The seller told me that one has 4 mb, but I have't had a chance to look yet.
