| Posted by: trag on 2011-07-25 09:44:26 They're getting harder to find, and there are a lot of Macs with that interface. Even some ethernet cards. Apple made an LC ethernet card which only has the AAUI interface. I think the entire NuBus PowerMac family has AAUI only. And, IIRC, the first PCI PowerMacs has the AAUI, but they also have an RJ-45 jack, so it would be kind of pointless to use the adapter on those. Did some of the Quadras use it as well?

The coolest AAUI item I have is an AAUI adapter with a built-in 4-port hub. So it has one "upstream" port and three "downstream" ports. (I think to make it work electrically, the upstream port has to be connected.) It's only marginally larger than every other AAUI adapter I have (about the same size as the pictured one.)
