Null modem cable for a Lisa
Posted by: mactjaap on 2015-07-11 03:40:28
I have successfully constructed a null modem cable from Mac 128K/512K to a PC. This works very nicely for a terminal session to my Linux box.

I was wondering if I can use this same cable for my Lisa. On the "Mac" end I have 25F/9M adapter I can remove so it fits the Lisa. Any knows if this will work or should I buy/construct a different null modem cable?

See pictures:

This is how it is now and works for the Mac 128K or 512K

This is how I could make it to fit on my Lisa

If it does not work straight, then you need a 25/25 pin null modem connector, which is basically the transmit/received are switched on the Lisa's end.

Could you recommend one? Or show a link?
