Performa 6400 Memory Type

What sort of memory does the Performa 6400 use? My PC100 modules refuse to fit yet have the right # of notches.

Don't try PC100 RAM I accidentally used one in a 6400. It arced and destroyed the socket.

You should be using 168 pin 5volt FPM DIMMs

Will this memory be fine?

Not sure, as should be 5 volt and not 3.3 volt.

you probably can ask to the seller first.

You'd probably want something like this.

I bookmarked this when I was looking for RAM for my 5400.

Looks like a better choice, and affordable too.

Just asked the ebay seller if they're 5v or 3.3v. If they're 5v, then they'll be fine for the Performa right?

Possibly. There's a detailed Apple article here.
