How does one prevent Macs from attempting to log-onto previously used servers via AppleShare? If said PC's/Macs are not on the boot process will halt for several minutes attempting to find them on the network.

In the system folder, there is a folder called "Servers" or something. delete what's in there. That should solve the issue.

No such folder seems to exist.
Running OS 8.6, btw.

Delete/move the file AppleShare Prep from Preferences.
