| Looking for PowerBook 190 "Software Highlights" and others. |

Hey everyone. I recently acquired a PowerBook 190cs that I'm in the process of restoring and unfortunately had to low-level format it's HDD. I was unable to back up a few items on the disk that don't appear on it's restore floppies. I'm looking for the "Software Highlights" applications that were preinstalled on the disk. Basically it included a "Getting Started" application, Macintosh Basics, eWorld, Adobe Acrobat 2, American Heritage Dictionary and a few other programs. Sadly the Floppy Disk Maker application that's preinstalled on the machine doesn't create backup floppies for those items. Does anyone have or know where I could possibly find those items? I know they're not terribly important applications, I just like that fresh stock-like install on my machines.

Does anyone know if those items (the pre-bundled applications) would be found on the "System 7.5.2 CD for PowerBook 5300, 2300, 190" disc? That way I can try to keep my eyes peeled for one.

Okay, my 190 has the following:
Software Highlights (this is just an alias to the Launcher)
Adobe Acrobat 2.0
Powerbook 190 Tour
Macintosh Tutorial Part 1
eWorld
I can't find the dictionary application or Macintosh Basics. I think by the time this 190 shipped (it appears to be a later model) Macintosh Basics had been replaced by Macintosh Tutorial.
Assuming it's legal, I'd be willing to share, but I'm not sure how I'd get the applications off the 190. It's only got a floppy drive and no ethernet capability.

Yes!! Exactly what I need! Now, the Acrobat Reader I've already come accross on a Power Macintosh restore disc I had so that's not really that important. I guess it's moreless the 190 specific files (like the tour) that I'd need.
Do you have a ZIP drive? Otherwise, I sometimes AppleTalk my older machines to newer ones that can connect to the outside world. PM me.

My 190 has an infrared port...I'll try setting up an AppleTalk link to one of my Kanga G3s over IR. I've used that setup before to link the two Kangas together so I'd imagine it would work to link the 190 as well. Once I get the files to the Kanga then I can send them over.
