| SE + MPW? |
Posted by: Yesitsme on 2015-06-27 12:21:37 So I got my working SE (THANKS!) Whooo hoo. I am loving it to pieces. I want to get MPW going. I want to stick with System 6. Is there a version of MPW for 6 that would run on my SE?

(THINK C may also be an option — and it will run off 2 800k diskettes!)

I routinely use MPW version 3.2.3 under system 6.0.8 with no issues on a Mac Plus, a IIci and in Mini vMac. I'm currently in contact with an author of a MPW compiler language who’s (with OS X stuff) still in business. I convinced him that’d be totally cool to have his compiler running withing MPW again.
So I stuffed together a Mini vMac machine, completely with OS and MPW 3.5. But … this MPW is too new. He needs a version that is "so old" that "Interfaces" and "Libraries" were two separate folders. 3.5 comes with a "Interfaces&Libraries" combined one.
Surprisingly I'm having a hard time finding old MPW version for download. Anyone has an idea which version fits the description above?

Götz
