I am in need of an OS8/9 IRC client - can anyone point me in the right direction? What does everyone use?

There is Snak and MacIRC. The former has a 30 min timer but the latter is free.

WaMCom and Classilla 9.0/9.0.4 both have ChatZilla. However, I would use it as a last resort since it has known security vulnerabilities. I disabled it in 9.1 and up for that reason.

MacIRC is super basic, but works okay.
ircle is feature rich, and an OS 9 license will carry over to X.
So it comes down to whether you're a power chatter or not.
