| QuickTake 100, software and more! |
Posted by: oneboyarmy on 2011-02-05 10:38:31 Through my last few days of my former job, I was allowed to take home some of the various vintage Mac odds and ends I've accumulated through my time there. I got some seriously awesome stuff out of it! (I'm still waiting on release forms for some actual Macs, so there will likely be another post soon!)
A QuickTake 100 camera with cable and leather Apple logo carrying case
3 1MB Apple Newton compact flash cards - one of which is a dealer demo software card!
A USB to ADB adapter
New in box black Apple Pro Mouse
Software on floppy:
Adobe Photoshop 3.0
Adobe Illustrator 5.5
ClarisWorks 4.0
Claris FileMaker Pro 3.0
After Dark Classic
Software on CD:
MetaCreations Painter 6 (which still qualifies for upgrade to the newest Painter release!)
Microsoft Office 98
Adobe Photoshop 4.0
Various Apple Developer Connection CDs
Virtual PC 5 with Windows 2000
Power Mac G4 Software Restore discs - for 9.0.2, 9.0.4, and a full 5-CD set for late model G4s
I think that's most if not all of it! Pretty good score, don't you think? 😎

Posted by: Concorde1993 on 2011-02-05 10:46:02 Nice score! I own a QT 200, and it's a fairly decent camera considering its age.
It's great to hear that your QT 100 came with most of the accessories intact. All I am missing from my QT 200 package is the snap-on viewfinder, and software, although some of the forum members were more than helpful in providing links to download some of 200 disk images.
leather Apple logo carrying case Hmmm...I didn't know Apple produced carrying cases for these cameras. My QT 200 didn't come with an Apple carrying case. It would be nice to get one of those in the near future.

I am tempted to call my quicktake a Digital Smena 😛

3 1MB Apple Newton compact flash cards - one of which is a dealer demo software card! Forgot to add...do these Newton cards have a 1993 copyright date on them? I own a H1000, and the flash card I have for it no longer works.

I am tempted to call my quicktake a Digital Smena 😛 I didn't get a chance to test it yet, but I do hope it works! If not, I still got the cool carrying case out of it - which I can use with my current camera!
