| eBay Score: Keyspan USA-28XG 2 port Serial |
Posted by: olePigeon on 2011-01-25 17:03:55 After probably buying $30 worth of materials in many, many failed attempts to make a custom serial cable to connect to my USB Serial adapter, I finally got a lucky bid on a Tripplite (Keyspan) 28XG dual serial port for $30 with free shipping.
This one is supposed to be 10.6 compatible (they have drivers for 64-bit Snow Leopard.)
So I should be able to use it with my normal Mac serial cable without any modifications.
Only problem is the guy's in China, but he did have 2300+ positive. Guess I'll find out.

Posted by: Dog Cow on 2011-01-25 17:23:52 It usually turns out well. These guys in China have the number 1 goal of making sure that we're satisfied with the purchase because eBay is how they make all of their income. The guy I bought from had over 20,000 positive feedback. Yeah, 20k. 8-o

Argh! I feel like I'm never going to get my IIe card bootstrapped.
