It refuses to remember the current date and time! If you enter it, and close out of the clock app, it forgets right away and sets it to something random. (Usually in the year 1995 or 1977.)
I cant figure this out, it has fresh batteries so that cant be the problem. Unless there is a hidden clock battery within the Newton itself, which I am highly suspicious of.
Also, an unrelated question: Whenever I download any newton apps from the newton archive, the sync software refuses to see it even though they are indeed newton applications.
Thanks

Newton Year 2010 patch
| Posted by: IIfx on 2011-01-20 17:01:33 I did not know such a problem existed with the newton. Thanks!
I also got it to install a ton of software, and I will be putting the newton to good use! :beige:
| Posted by: beachycove on 2011-01-20 20:42:43 Don't use the Dates application until you install the patch, as you will likely end up losing all data via a hard reset.
