PowerBook 280/280c no video
Posted by: Macdrone on 2015-06-22 12:52:27 So a forum member gave me some projects and I went in hip deep. All the screens are good as tested on my 2300. Sound good and the like. So I got 3 280 motherboards. The one that would boot chime and spin up the hard drive I recapped (minus one 33uf) I need to go get) and no change in the lack of video. The other boards would do nothing. I may try and recap those also but I am running out of the 100uf caps. Anyone have a duo with no video issue? The pins look clean and straight on the mb and inside the cable for the screen, and I know the screens works on the 2300. Thanks in advance.
Posted by: Strimkind on 2015-09-01 21:14:53 How does the power connector and associated circuitry look? I have a Duo 230 that squeals due to parts getting old around there. Its possible the screen is just not getting the power it needs.
