I was going to bid $200 (just in case it went cheap), figured it would go for around $500, and currently it is $565 and climbing.

Anyone here bidding on it, or guestimating where it will end?

A bit crazy, wonder what the odds are somebody will release the disk images.

Who cares? Let's just hope he has a sweet rig (maybe a Q 950!) and will let us have shell accounts on it!

A/UX 1.x will probably only support a 68000 or maybe 68020 like an SE or Mac II, A/UX 2.1 was the first to support a 68030 IIfx.

I saw when the auction was first posted and set a "watch" flag on it. I did not suspect that the demand for it would be so strong! I am amazed.

I guessed this too, but if this chart is accurate, the various versions of A/UX overlap the same handful of machines.

It seems that there is no Mac which can run A/UX 1 or 2 which cannot run 3 instead. I was hoping v1 might run on my SE. Oh well!

There's some more A/UX goodness on ebay here.

Pisces Board, here. fwiw.

A bit pricey for that board, but it does have the full cache. I have a spare for my machine.
