I think it's an adapter for really old keyboards to a PS2 connection. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AT_keyboard

AT to PS/2 keyboard but its not a converter because both ends are male (KVM cable probably).

But Apple branded? looks like a generic apple serial cable but with the "AT keyboard" on one side
