I recently picked a very nice G4 sawtooth 400mhz AGP. Have got OS 9.22 and Tiger installed on separate drives. The mac has a DVD rom drive. I have a spare apple combo CD burner/DVD rom drive in my big box of stuff, model number cdd5101/86, and tried to install it. For some reason tiger would not recognize the drive. I had it set as master with the jumper on the rear, no good. disconnected the zip drive, no good. Set it as cable select, no good.....am now at a loss..
Any help would be appreciated
