Firewire and USB 2.0

Posted by: waynestewart on 2010-09-29 02:16:19 I’ve said for a while that firewire was about twice as fast as USB 2.0 and I’ve confirmed that with drives that had both USB and firewire. I was just thinking that I’ve only compared the two in drives that held a SATA drive. If the enclosure had a PATA drive might the answer be different?
