So I was toying around with the Hotline 1.2.3 client on my quadra tower when I noticed that the domain "boffomac.com" wasn't owned by anyone... The bookmark to their hotline server came with the hotline software right out of the box, so I figured I'd buy the domain for 9 bucks and forward it to my own server. I also set up a little page at the web address with some links and info.

BoffoMac hasn't been around since the late 90's so I'm not sure how many of you guys would recognize the name.

Doesn't mean anything to me (new to the mac started in 2001), what was that old site about?

I was on Hotline around 99 but I don't remember the name. Then again there's a lot I don't remember from 99...

I tried to connect via Hotline but it wouldn't work. Maybe because I only have 1.8.4 lying around? Then again I usually use the KDX route these days anyway.

The actual hotline bookmark is "hotline.boffomac.com"

I myself only vaguely remembered it because its bookmark came with Hotline 1.2.3 client software. It was like a chat/shareware server from what I remember. The site is mentioned in quite a few places online so I figured I would put something up for any old schoolers who still check around these places.
