Unable to trash a couple of empty folders in OS 9.2.
I have tried holding down the modifier keys one at a time, dragged the folder out of trash and renamed them but some evil vodoo is not allowing me to trash those folders.
Suggestions please .

Try rebooting your Mac, Trash the folders and then empty the Trash bin. Chances are you had some application still running and it was using those folders or the contents within.
If that doesn't work, mouse-click once to highlight the folder and do Cmd + I (Get Info...). Go to the bottom of the Info window and look for a checkbox labeled "Locked". If there is a check mark in that box, mouse-click the box until the check mark goes away. Cmd + W (Close) the open window to save the change. Then try and Trash the folder(s). You'll need to do the steps in this paragraph once for each folder that won't delete.
Sometimes when you run program(s), any files or folders opened up with that program or that you access for doing work in them, will cause those files and folders to lock up. They will stay that way until you quit/exit the program you're using. Other times, someone may have made the files or folders 'locked' on purpose, and they have set it up manually using the same steps in the previous paragraph to do so.
If all else fails, reboot your Mac and hold down the Option key. This will boot with Extensions turned off. Try deleting the files or folders after doing this.

That solved getting rid of those folder's/files from HELL.
