I am looking for options to upgrade my iix to PowerPC with hope to run os9.
Any ideas?

No one ever made a PowerPC upgrade for the IIx. There was an adapter which would allow the installation of a Daystar Turbo040 in the IIx but that was as far as it could go.
I do not know if anyone ever tried installing a Turbo601 on the adapter used for the Turbo040.
