A powerbook just arrived via USPS, purchased on eBay 4 days ago for 25 bucks with... Free Shipping!
It was a little banged up. I think that it survived shipping ok, but the hinge mounts are more than a little loose (broken?) and a few of the standard stress cracks are evident. That's the bad news.
The good news is that it booted up cleanly - I love the grayscale on these, very sharp and nice.
I will work on getting the case issues sorted out, but a working PB180 for 25 US, shipped, means the deals are still out there!

How's the LCD? Any tunneling?

There is no tunneling evident, but there is one pixel that looks to be staying dark. Otherwise, its perfect. I will check on the pixel, once I get it disassembled.

worth it and then some for the screen alone if there is no tunneling. Think one stuck pixel is fine, even new those might have had one or two.
