| finally, something post worthy from me |
Posted by: bubbleman7546 on 2010-06-10 20:06:37 today, my grandmother's boss had me clear out his back room, for which i was given some new toys to tinker with!
i only took some blurry pics of the model numbers so i have to guess on one of them
Performa ?631CD i believe?
Power Mac 7200 120 i think with a usb card
Power Mac ?7200? 132 with the av card built in
all of the above came with the big apple 15" crt's with the built in speakers (forget what they're called at the moment)
turquoise iMac G3 400 MHz, 192 mb of ram, and the original 10 gb hard drive
dead emac 700 mhz
many many many cables and peripherals
a really really old apple printer, almost looks from the apple II/ 128k era
the only things i didn't get were the ones i was really hoping for- an SE/30 and a 512K :-/
ah well. oh and he has some sort of g3 powerbook that i expressed my interest in buying 🙂

Posted by: bubbleman75461511844953 on 2010-06-12 08:28:54 got the base specs from under the keyboard, it's a 1ghz proc with 256mb ram 30gb hard drive and a combo drive. and it came with a brand new batery. the only thing is i was told it had been sitting for a while so hopefully one of the batteries still holds somewhat of a charge a t least until i can afford to get a new one. also hoping for more memory than the base specs say so i can throw leopard on it 🙂

Posted by: ppuskari on 2010-06-12 14:00:50 Hey what is the make/model of that giant printer?
I'm still looking for a working Apple Daisy Wheel printer (And they were GIANT).. I have one but the string broke and it didn't ever quite type what was sent down the wire so I know it had problems to begin with.
Maybe you lucked into an ImageWriter LQ?? They were huge as well.
Cheers,
