The first mobile phone with a close relation to Apple
Posted by: bibilit on 2015-06-01 08:48:40
Yesterday i collected a french mobile phone.

This, issued in 1993, was related with Apple, and mainly to the Powerbook range.

The Bi-bop was a failure, and the Powerbop will be one as well, but a first step to wireless communication.

The battery is toast, but a common 3.7 volt mobile phone battery brought it to life.

The mobile is useless today but was just 5 € including the docking station, but no charger.

Indeed… There is one here :

But it's the one without the CT2 module. if you have a source for the module, swap should be easy.

Yes, i have seen it a couple of times , but without module is worthless (in my opinion) and getting the right module will be next to impossible.

I use to have a contact, but he knows how much those are worth....
