Today I was given a free Power Book G3 'Lombard' 333 by a coworker - 384Mb RAM/12Gb HDD / CD with 2 hour battery life and Apple 45W non UFO power adapter.
PRAM battery is good so do not have to set the date after every cold boot
I now regret giving away an unused DVD decoder / DVD drive kit that was lying around unused since 1996!!!

That's really cool!
Most of the people I know who still have functional older Macs love them and won't part with them for anything until they're dead... but then I get project equipment 😉

Fantastic score! I too was given a free Lombard 333. Note that a motherboard from the 400MHz model includes the hardware DVD decoder, which will work even with the 333MHz CPU.
