Using Classilla 9.1 and I'm mad as hell

The forum smilies don't work. I have to enter them manually if I can remember the code.

Really?

1. Smilies are that important to you?

2. In my day, we had to type all of the smilies by hand anyway. And they weren't just things like a colon then a parenthesis. There were always square brackets involved.

3. Maybe instead of being mad as hell here on this forum, you could file a bug report with the developer, or casually ask in one of the existing threads about the 68kMLA and classilla if clicking on the smilies/emoticons and having that functionality work is on the roadmap.

4. Heck, maybe it already works, if you asked in one of those threads, you could collaborate with other forum members to figure out why it isn't working with your setup/settings.

I'll look at that when I'm back at my desk, but I could have sworn the smilies worked okay (with JavaScript on, mind you).

The smilies are what keep him less mad.

This thread is monumental fail.

Cory,

If I could insert a smiley, you would see I was joking. Another thing, do you really expect anyone to remember the type in for every smiley on the list?

Classilla smiley test (clicked on a few):

🙂 🙁 😉 😛 :-* 😱)

Looks like it works fine. I suspect NoScript isn't configured right.

I'll log in tomorrow with Classilla and see what the settings are.
