| Posted by: LCGuy on 2010-01-20 16:14:07 Sounds to me like you have 32 bit addressing turned off. With 32 bit addressing turned off, the system cannot address any more than the first 8MB of RAM, and as such the rest appears to be used by the System Software.
Go into the Memory control panel, and under "32 bit addressing", click the radio button marked "On". You may have to restart.
