ADC on a PCI card?
Posted by: Bunsen on 2010-01-20 10:08:11
Was there ever a PCI video card with an ADC port? I seem to have this surplus of ADC monitors now, and I thought it might be fun to run two or more at a time off the same machine. One is hooked up the the ADC port on the AGP Geforce now, of course.

I'm guessing no, because of the power supply issue, but I just thought I'd ask in case anyone here knows of one.

I think you'd have to go for a DVI-to-ADC adapter.

Eep. They're ... not cheap.

Well, there's someone on my side of the big blue selling one for USD$75 on Craigslist...

I remember some guy on the vast internets rewiring an ADC monitor to have DVI and a separate power supply.

Yeah, I'm investigating that hack. What I really would love is a source of cheap ADC female sockets.

Okay, this issue seems to have magically resolved itself
