Scored my third Imac that is a bondi blue,

I am geting the computer in an hour as its in my neighbours trunk, (I asked if she could bring it over) She works at my school and is driving it home for me,

So i have rides for the old computers i get from my school. 😛

But from what I know,

It has firwire, so it means it 400Mh+ Can't wait!!!

this computer is in very good condition so i am hoping for the best, the person I got it from got the computer wiped by the IT guy at the school and he told her just to chuck it,,

But that means there may be a major problem with it, or the IT guy took the drive out, |)

I'm going to get a video of it's first boot ;D

well I'm going to let the Dog out later, and the chats aswell

Cool! But the firewire models where not ever bondi, they were either blueberry or indigo.

well I need it know,

It gave me the 4 beeps, (not bongs) but beeps, I looked at apples site and it says its somthing to do with a rom, Umm I thought there was no game system in the computer, (Just kidding) so i am going to reset the pmsu and see if that helps, if anyone has a quick try to fix it I'm open I also have 2 Imac boards (400MH) I hope they will fit if worse comes to worse

Hmm, that sounds like a ram issue, try reseating it and put only one in, try many combos till it works.

its not ram, as i looked on apples site and 3 dings are ram 4 is a rom, problem so i am thinking a bad frimware upgrade happend, so what I did was swap out the disk drive and the MB and its boots, just trying to get this diskdrive to work know as it never did I think, I should never play with broken things, 😛

Disk Drive is a no Go, as well as the hard drive it wont mount, I am taking the hard drive out and puting it in my g4 power mac and going to test it, them and going to toss the dvd drive as it wont even spit out one of my mac os9 coppys, (tryed the mouse buttin, then herd grinding from the dvd, so I am just going to toss it
