| Posted by: JRL on 2009-12-04 19:02:14 The PDS slot for the IIci and the LC PDS slot are two completely different interfaces, unfortunately.
The Presto was also only made for the LC series.
| Posted by: olePigeon on 2009-12-08 14:07:04 My instruction manual has specific installation instructions for IIci. Lowend Mac even has benchmarks of a IIci with a Presto upgrade. That's why I was asking. Perhaps they were just two completely different accelerator cards, one for the LC and one for the IIci?
Edit: Answered my own question. I even found the product. They made a separate Presto 040 for the IIci, IIcx, IIvi, IIvx series.
| Posted by: JRL on 2009-12-08 15:33:56 Oh whoops, my bad. I remember a specific Presto 040 for the IIci now.
It's pretty rare/expensive though, and a Daystar Turbo040 would be easier to find.
