I have a dead LC with a dead power supply.
An electrician tried to fix it, but the integrated circuit is damaged.
I'm looking for a used power supply on the internet and found two branded as compatible with LC but with different part numbers:
614-0028 and 614-0003
My question is if they are really compatible with a mac LC, since the output electrical volts are equal but the amperes are different:
614-0028:
+5v - 4,75A
-5v - 0.075A
+12V - 1.0A
614-0003:
+5v - 3,75A
-5v -0.075A
+12V - 0.78A
Also my power supply is TDK and these are ASTEC.
Any recommendations or thoughts about this?

Yep, they are compatible; I've tried this myself. My Astec PSU works great in my LC (original) too.

The LC, LC II, LC III, and their Performa equivalents are all interchangeable. However, the connectors are in different places on the logic board, between the LC and the LC III (not sure about the LC II). Therefore, the connection that comes out of the power supply is shorter on the LC III's power supply. It is just long enough to reach the connector on the LC.

The older LCs used more powerful supplies than the newer ones. If you're restoring an original LC, I would *guess* that it's best to put in the more powerful version.
