we all remember how Marathon became silky smooth when run on a PPC, along with Doom II, Dark Forces and the like. I recall many games offered enhancements when 68K Macs transitioned to PPC, but now forget the lesser-known titles that I used to enjoy playing.
- What PPC games had vastly improved performance/graphics over 68K versions?
- Games that became much more enjoyable due to their improved performance?
- Were there any other enhancements - eg. improved sound/music?
Thanks for your input - I'd like to try out some early PPC-coded games on my Powerbook 540 (with 167Mhz PPC upgrade), and keen to see what's out there.
