Older benchmarking tools...

I'm a sucker for benchmarking. I've been using Speedometer 4.0, but thought that maybe I'd like to try MacBench. Is there a version of MacBench that works not only under System 6, but also tests PPCs natively as well? And if so, is there a place where I can get it? A Google search only seems to result in broken links. 🙁

Norton Utilities had a benchmarking tool as part of its suite. I can't recall for sure which versions had it though.

I've got MacBench 2 on my site, but I don't know if it's PPC native or not.

Thanks! Great site, btw. I just joined up, and grabbed MacBench 2. Incidentally, it's the opposite - PPC native but requires System 7. I think what I'll do is create a 7.0.1 boot disk and use it for benchmarking the older machines. My IIcx is currently churning away on it right now. 🙂

When I first started on the Vault project over one year ago, I had the foolish thought that I'd open all of the software archives, test them, and document them.
Ha! ;D
