I have been looking for one of these for a very long time, on and off, and just did another search on a whim. Within the past 10 mins., I landed one on eBay for $5 plus shipping (ouch). They sold for $150 or so back in 1997-98.
I am just delighted, skipping the shipping, as these DIMMs were the absolute cream of the L2 cache crop, are überrare (or at least are überhard to find), and a 1MB L2 cache of any sort is said to improve performance of a 604e dramatically.
It is destined for my 2 x 604e/200MHz PM 8600.

I got one of these for my 7300 back in the day. They really do make a difference and they did indeed cost a fortune when they were new.
For $5 it's a great deal - and a cool collectors item!
