Okidata Microline 320

Found this at a salvation army today, had no sticker on it so the guy said I could have it for $3.50. Came with two manuals and a somewhat dry but still decent ribbon. Self tests just fine. According to some papers folded in the manuals it was purchased on 10/16/95, one day and four years ago. Thought that was interesting.

I Have an OkiData printer as well! It came in a bundle with my ][e! I am not sure if it works as I have no way of testing it, because my ][e has no software. Mine is Okidata Microline 192.

You can test the printer by typing PR#1 at the Applesoft prompt (assuming the printer card is in slot 1)... after that all output should be redirected to the printer. Type something and hit [RETURN] and the printer *should* print the line if the hardware's set up properly.

Also almost every dotmatrix printer ever can self test. With my model, you can either hold down TOF/QUIET while you turn it on or hold down line feed while you turn it on. The ImageWriter II is the same - turn it on while holding form feed and it will do a self test.

I don't have applesoft or anything else! Just the command line after doing Control-Reset and playing with it.

Wait what paper does it use as well?

You type PR#1 at the BAISC (]) prompt to output anything typed. As per paper they can use tractor feed or normal loose leaf depending on what mode you have it in.
