Platinum Apple IIe added to the museum

It has confounded me for a while that I somehow have managed to not acquire an Apple IIe for my retro-computing collection, but that problem has now been solved. I turned up a local auction on eBay for a nice "Platinum" Apple IIe, with a Monitor II (green-screen), two floppy drives, cables, and one or two educational games. The system was clearly from a school, with a stock sticker on the bottom and a hand-written number "2" on the side of the monitor, but those should come off with a little elbow grease and a Magic Eraser.

I've had a nice IIGS for a few years, but not having a IIe in the collection felt like opening an automotive museum but not having a Model T or a '56 Chevy - something fundamentally important just wasn't there.

All is good now.

PS Anyone have an extra Apple II -to- memory-card reader?
