Yes. The 54xx/55xx boards and their 6xxxx counterparts are interchangeable.

Thanks so much! Are you sure it'll be compatible with the extra PCI slot and all? Well no...You'd have to swap the PCI risers. The 5500 case can only accommodate 1 PCI slot.

Whatever board you're putting into the 5500, you'll need the 5500 cover.
