take the empty Mac Mini case and see if the Disk II innards would fit in it I've seen a Mini, and I've seen a Disk II, and this ain't gonna happen, no way no how.
What would be interesting is to use the extra space inside the Disk II to mount a fast cheap desktop sized hard drive, either with a reverse 3.5"-2.5" adapter, as in the Centris Mini hack, or via Firewire.
